PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device effective to accurately detect the deviation of transfer timing. SOLUTION: A latent image is formed on a photoreceptor belt 5 by compositing a mark outputted from a mark signal output part 2 with an image signal, the mark is detected by a mark detection sensor 8 disposed just before a transfer part, and the detected result is outputted to an image deviation prediction part 12. Simultaneously, the head of paper P is detected by a paper detection sensor 9 disposed just before the transfer part, and the detected result is outputted to the prediction part 12. The prediction part 12 measures an interval between the time when the mark is detected by the sensor 8 and the time when the head of the paper P is detected by the sensor 9 and judges whether the interval is normal or not. |
