PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily fix an image at both-side copying and multiple copying and also to reduce power consumption more and more by detecting the temperature of transfer material stacked in a stack part so as to be fed again and controlling the temperature of a fixing part in accordance with the detected temperature of the transfer material. SOLUTION: The surface temperature of a fixing roller is controlled by a controller 1004 so as to be equal to a prescribed value based on the detection value of a thermistor 302 at one-side copying. In the case the both-side and multiple copying mode is selected, the surface temperature of the fixing roller is controlled based on the detection value of the temperature detecting sensor 313 arranged in a paper refeeding unit. That is, the temperature of the transfer paper fed into the stack part is detected by the temperature detecting sensor 313, and stored in the RAM 1004c of the controller 1004, then, compared with detection data on the transfer paper fed succeedingly. In the case the detection data on the fed transfer paper are larger, the data stored in the RAM 1004c are rewritten. And the air conditioning temperature of the fixing part is changed from the stored data based on a temperature table. |
