PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which is free from maintenance, which can be accurately and stably calibrated and which is constituted so that the quality of an image formed on a recording medium is enhanced. SOLUTION: By a detection unit 3, the surface density of a paper P0 which is not passed through an image forming position and the density of the image for calibrating a device formed on a paper P1 through an image forming process are detected. By a control part, an image forming unit 2 is controlled so that the desired-density output image corresponding to an output image signal is formed on a paper P2 based on the surface density of the paper P0 and the density of the image for calibrating a device. |
