PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly attach a flat cable to a housing. SOLUTION: A spacer 30 whose rear face is made an arc-like face 31 is put on and bonded to a rear side position of an insertion part 25 in the upper face of a flat cable 20. The flat cable 20 is folded forward from the spacer 30. In the state that the insertion part 25 is slightly inserted into an insertion inlet 16 of a housing 10, the flat cable 20 is folded back and by leftward pulling the extension operational part 24 which is the folded back part while pushing the part 23 to the upper face of the housing 10, the insertion force is applied to the insertion part 25 through a spacer 30 and the insertion part 25 is inserted into the insertion inlet 16. Since the insertion force is applied by pulling the flexible flat cable 20, the tension is converted to the insertion force without decreasing the insertion force due to buckling and the insertion part 25 can easily and reliably be inserted. |
