PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element which can have a high photoelectric conversion efficiency, even if it has a light-transmitting electrode which has light transmissivity, haze factor, electric resistance, a crystalline grain diameter, etc., equal to those in the prior art. SOLUTION: At least parts of the surfaces of at least some of a plurality of crystalline grains 18 in a light-transmitting electrode 15 are tilted with respect to the surface of a light-transmitting base 14, and its tilted angle is constant. For this reason, when parallel light incident on the surface of the base 14 is refracted at an interface between the electrode 15 and a semiconductor thin film 16, a percentage of the light thereafter directed toward a predetermined direction through the thin film 16 is increased, a percentage of light having long optical path lengths and travelling through the film 16 can be enhanced, and thus probability for the generation of photoelectric conversion can be enhanced. |
