The invention concerns a shock-absorbing shield for case transporting a portable microcomputer or other technical equipment, characterised in that it covers at least three internal edges (6), (7) and (8) of the case and is formed of a support strip (9) bearing over its whole length or locally a flexible foam lining (11) of three or four cushions (14), (15) and (17), (18) whereof the density and/or thickness varies inwards into the case. Said invention is of interest to manufacturers of cases for portable microcomputers.
