<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct tape running by detecting the number of revolution of a take-up reel and a feeding reel when the take-up reel is rotated by the number of prescribed revolution, calculating a take-up amount of a tape with the number of revolution and deciding the thickness of the tape according to she take-up amount of the tape. SOLUTION: The number of revolution pulses of the take-up reel 206 are counted from the state that a magnetic tape 201 is rewound to the take-up reel 206 until becoming A revolution being the number of prescribed revolution. When the number of revolution of the take-up reel 206 arrived at the A revolution of the prescribed number of revolution, respective rotation periods of the feeding reel 204 and the take-up reel 206 are detected, and the ratio between the rotation periods of the feeding reel 204 and the take-up reel 206 is calculated. Then, the revolution pulses of the feeding reel 204 and the take-up reel 206 are counted until the number of revolution of the take-up reel 206 become A+x. The revolution of the feeding reel 204 and the take-up reel 206 are detected by rotation detective sensors 211, 212, and the tape thickness is calculated.</p> |
