<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for controlling production line with which operation monitor and operation tact time calculation can be performed while reducing burden at the time of program design. SOLUTION: On the production line provided with a line host computer and device controllers more than one, each device controller outputs an operating command to its controlled system device (S46), raises a flag for its operation execution (S44) and outputs the time information of operation start (S45). The similar process is executed concerning every operation of the controlled system device. Thus, it is enough to arbitrarily select a monitor object process on the side of the host computer to monitor it and at the time of device program design, it is not necessary for the designer of that program to check whether monitoring is required or not.</p> |
