PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the yellow toner mother particles, for developing an electrostatic charge image, capable of attaining sharpness and sufficient color reproducibility and development at the time of forming a full color image by using a full color copying machine or printer or the like, and to provide the yellow toner and the yellow developer each using these yellow toner mother particles. SOLUTION: These yellow toner mother particles, for developing an electrostatic charge image, contains a processed pigment (D) obtained by mechanically kneading a mixture comprising at least 3 components of an epindoridione pigment (A) represented by the formula, and an aqueous inorganic salt (B), and a water-soluble solvent (C), and then rinsing and removing the components (B) and (C). In the formula, each of R1 -R8 is, independently, an H or halogen atom and at least 3 of R1 -R4 are halogen atoms.
