PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector, whose space factor on a printed circuit board is small inspite of multiplier nature. SOLUTION: This connector comprises an insulating housing 2 having a card slot 4 formed in a front face 2a, and a plurality of terminals 3A, 3C, 3E mounted in the housing 2 at a prescribed pitch along the longitudinal direction of the card slot 4, wherein contacts 11a, 11c, 11e of spring beams 10a, 10c, 10e of the terminals 3A, 3C, 3E face up or down in the card slot 4. In this case, two arrangements of the three contacts 11a, 11c, 11e, i.e., one in which the two contacts 11c and 11e face down and the other one 11a up, and the other in which the one contact faces down and the other two up, are disposed next to each other along the longitudinal direction of the card slot 4. |
