PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain improvement efficiency in account number updating by preparing input data and simultaneously updating the account information of a object record in a data base. SOLUTION: After an account number comparator file 1 is prepared, an object account extracting function 5 extracts a record having the account number of a dispatch shop existent in an account number data base 3 corresponding to the account number of the dispatch shop stored in the account number comparator file 1. As an account number updating input data file 2, a updated input data preparing function 6 prepares the contents of the account number of the dispatch shop stored in the account number comparator file 7, the contents of the account number of a reception shop and retrieval information describing the contents of a record storage position. Afterwards, a data updating function 7 simultaneously reads all the data in the account number input data file 2, the record is retrieved from the contents of the retrieval information describing the record storage position of the object accounts of respective data, and the account number of the dispatch shop is updated to the account number of the reception shop. |
