PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming method of barrier rib for plasma display panel back substrate and a forming device with high productivity and dimensional accuracy that can worked with in a clean condition, further that reduces cost. SOLUTION: A barrier paste 15 is coated on a back substrate 9 of a plasma display panel is dried or half-dried, and then a cylindrical pressing roller 1 that a recessed and projecting lib pattern 3 is formed on its periphery is turned under a fixed pressure to form a barrier rib 10. A roll brush 6 to remove foreign materials may be provided on the periphery of the pressing roller. |
