PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positional information recording camera apparatus capable of replacing positional information with map information and displaying it so that the positional information at a spot can be subjectively grasped at the time of picking up a video. SOLUTION: A navigation camera apparatus 1 is constituted of both a navigation function and a camera function. In the case of the navigation function, a control part 4 calculates the latitude and the longitude of a present place from a GPS signal received by a positional information detection part 3, and stores them as the positional information in a storage part 5. The control part 4 searches the name of a map information file corresponding to the positional information from a recording and reproducing part 6 based on the positional information and reads it out in the storage part 5. Then, the map information of the map information file read out is displayed on a display part 7. In the case of the camera function, picked up video information is recorded in the recording and reproducing part 6 corresponding to the positional information, and the video information is displayed on the display part 7 at the time of reproducing the video information. |
