PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a situation that an image is deteriorated all the more because of performing insufficient image blurring correction control. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a correction optical system driving means controlling the position of a correction optical system in order to correct image blurring and a control means for controlling the correction optical system driving means and other driving means; and the driving control of the correction optical system driving means is stopped temporarily (ξ151 andξ161) according to the circumstances of the load of the control means.
