<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable cost reduction and miniaturization, regarding a detent structure of a rotary coupler which is installed, e.g. in a steering wheel attaching part of an automobile. SOLUTION: A rotary coupler is provided with a fixed side member 10 and a rotation side member 11 which can be mutually and relatively rotated by using a rotation center axis as the center, and a cable 13 accommodated in an annular space part 12 formed between both of the members 10, 11. In this case, a spring 27 capable of expanding and contracting in the axial direction along an inner wall is fitted in a central hole 11b of the rotation side member 11. The upper part 28a of an L-shaped stopper 28 is rotatably retained in the direction perpendicular to the axis, above the expanding and contracting direction of the spring 27. A stopper trench with which the lower part 28b of the stopper 28 pivotted to the outside is engaged is formed on the lower surface of the fixed side member 10. The lower part 28b of the stopper 28 is set so as to be released from the stopper trench when the spring 27 is contracted and the stopper 28 is moved to the lower side in the axial direction.</p> |
