PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cyclic stability and safety without decreasing capacity by including a hydrazine derivative represented by the specified formula in a battery. SOLUTION: A hydrazine derivative represented by the formula [in the formula, R11 , R12 , and R13 represent an alkyl group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group, an acyl group, an oxycarbonyl group, or a sulfonyl group, and R14 represents an acyl group, an oxycarbonyl group, or a sulfonyl group.] is dissolved in a nonaqueous electrolyte. The content of the hydrazine derivative in the nonaqueous electrolyte is 1 g or more but 50 g or less per kg of the electrolyte, and a nonaqueous solvent in the nonaqueous electrolyte is at least one of or both of a cyclic carbonate and/or a chain carbonate. The hydrazine derivative is inactive under the voltage environment in normal charging/ discharging, and develops effects only when the high voltage environment is generated by an abnormal operation or the like. |
