PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the capacity of information of an optical disk larger by enabling recordings and reproductions to the optical disk constituted in one sheet by laminating plural sheets of optical disks constituted of specific plural layers. SOLUTION: One sheet of a disk is constituted by laminating plural sheets of disks formed with recording layers 1, transparent electrodes 2, electrochromic layers 3 and transparent electrodes 4. The electrochromic layer 3 is formed with a coloring layer 3-2 made up of substances generating electrochemical reaction and an electrolytic layer 3-1 intermediating electrochemical reaction. In the case of performing a recording and a reproduction to the first disk being at the uppermost part, a light beam is interrupted or reflected to be made incident on an optical head by coloring the transparent electrochromic layer 3 while respectively impressing positive and negative voltages on transparent electrodes 2, 4. Moreover, in the case of performing a recording and a reproduction to a second disk, the layer 3 is made to be colored by respectively impressing positive and negative voltages on the transparent electrodes 2, 4 after the layer 3 of the first disk is made transparent by impressing negative and positive voltages on transparent electrodes 2, 4 of the first disk. Subsequently, recordings and reproductions are performed till the disk being at the lowermost layer similarly. |
