PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend sound image reception range and to receive a sound image in a free direction of a listeners, face by supplying a signal to each loudspeaker, so that a sound having a sound image localized to a sound image localization position in common to plural speaker pairs is emitted. SOLUTION: Sets of loudspeaker pairs configuring a speaker group, each of which consists of a right speaker 21 and a left speaker 22 are placed inward to surround a two-dimensional circular space and each of four pairs of the speakers is placed at upper, lower, left/and right positions. A signal supply unit 10 supplies a signal to each of the speakers 21, 22. In this case, a sound source section 11 generates a monaural signal representing a sound from a sound image localized on a 3-dimensional space, the monaural signal is inputted to each right signal supply section 15 and each left signal supply section 16. Furthermore, a sound image fixed position setting section 12 sets a sound image fixed position at which the sound image is localized on the three-dimensional space as a function of time in common to four pairs of speakers, and a signal representing the sound image fixed position is inputted to each transfer function generating section 13. |
