<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer an electronic mail or facsimile to equipment for different media as well at the field of a user, when the electronic mail or the facsimile is received by user's company, etc., by constituting communication equipment to convert the received electronic mail into facsimile data and to transmit it to a specified transmission address by facsimile. SOLUTION: This communication equipment is constituted to transmit the electronic mail, when an input part 10 is selected by a specified mode (for example, for to mail). A character recognition processing by software is performed on the facsimile data, and only a text part of the facsimile is converted into text data by a control part 12. Then data less than the text data is converted into image data by performing image compression to the data to a JPEG(joint photographic expert group), etc., by the control part 12. Next, the text data is stuck to text of the electronic mail, the electronic mail is created by defining JPEG data as an attached file of the electronic mail, and the create electronic mail is transferred to the specified transmission address via a transmission/reception part 1 by the control part 12.</p> |
