<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly adjust the concentration and the liquid level of developer by providing such a step that liquid carrier or ink is supplied so that the concentration of the developer becomes an optimum concentration value or the liquid level thereof becomes the maximum level when the concentration of the developer becomes under the minimum concentration value and the liquid level thereof becomes equal to or under the minimum level. SOLUTION: By a concentration detector, it is discriminated whether the concentration Dx of the developer in a developer storage tank is equal to or under the minimum concentration value Dmin or not (S220). When it is discriminated to be larger than the value Dmin at the step S220, it is discriminated whether the liquid level Lx of the developer is equal to or under the minimum level Lmin or not (S260). When it is discriminated to be equal to or under the level Lmin at the step S260, the liquid carrier and/or the ink is supplied to the developer storage tank so that the concentration of the developer in the developer storage tank becomes the optimum concentration value Oopt and the liquid level thereof becomes the maximum level Lmax . When the liquid level Lx of the developer is higher than the level Lmin , operation is advanced to a step S280 and a printing action is executed on a condition that the developer is normal.</p> |
