PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the system efficiency of a laser oscillator by saving the energy consumption of the cooling water piping system for the main body of the oscillator in a cooling cycle and, at the same time, to make the oscillator stably operable for a long period. SOLUTION: A cooling cycle S1 composed of refrigerating machine 3 which maintains cooling water P.W at a constant temperature after the water P.W is used for cooling the main body 1 of a laser oscillator is installed to a cooling water piping system 2 which circulatively supplies the cooling water P.W to the main body 1. In addition, a front-end heat exchanging cycle S2 composed of a heat exchanger 8 using a heat exchanging medium W which fluctuates in temperature under a natural environmental condition is also installed to the piping system 2 so that the cycles S1 and S2 can be switched selectively to each other. |
