摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the detecting performance of blur by providing a means for amplifying low and high frequency components into signals with arbitrary amplification factors, a means for mixing the amplified signals and a means for performing focusing control based on the mixed signal. SOLUTION: An amplifying part 15 first reads a video signal outputted from a processing circuit 13 as an AF signal and the amplification factors of a low frequency component and a high frequency component both stored in RAM. The amplifying part 15 extracts the low frequency component and the high frequency component from the video signal and the amplification factors of the low frequency component and the high frequency component are multiplied, respectively. Next, the multiplied results are mixed and the amplified/mixed AF signal is outputted to an AF control part 14. When the AF control part 14 judges that an AF mode is set by an AF switch, the part calculates the moving amount of a focus compensating lens 104 for AF control based on the amplified/mixed AF signal. The part instructs a lens unit control part to move the focus compensating lens 104 by the moving amount.
