PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle speed detection mechanism that can be mounted easily by miniaturizing it and simplifying its retention mechanism. SOLUTION: A vehicle-speed detection mechanism is constituted of a rotary member 25 with a screw gear 21 that is fixed to a drive shaft 3, a pinion gear 26 that is engaged to the screw gear 21 at right angle, and a transmission part 32 and a mounting member 31 that supports the rotary member 25 rotatably and has a reception part 33 that opposes the transmission part 32. Then, the reception part 33 repeatedly receives a transmission signal from the transmission part 32 due to the rotation of the rotary member 25 and detects the speed of the drive shaft 3. |
