PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-dimensional or two-dimensional photosensor by which adverse effects of air bubbles in an adhesive layer between substrates are eliminated, and an actual-size readout can be performed without causing deteriorating in the resolution. SOLUTION: This photosensor has a protecting substrate 105 on a sensor device substrate 103. Spacers 202 are dispersed between the sensor device substrate 103 and the protecting substrate 105. The perimeters of both the substrates are adhered via the medium of an air layer supported by the spacer 202.
