The internal hub section has a pre-weld bond with a weld throat, flat sealing surface and an outer edge on the underside. A central bridging section includes bolt holes on a pitch circle, a plane top and recessed underside. An outer collar section is connected to the hub by the bridging section. Dimensions and conformation are selected for optimal bending strength when welded and bolted-up.
