The invention relates to a system of elastic cells wherein a fluid can circulate. Two systems have been considered according to the inflation and disinflation mechanism. System 1: intercommunicated cells. The cells are connected by means of communicating vessels wherein the fluid flow is regulated by means of one or a plurality of valves, thereby making the compartments independent. The cushion or seat will contain a certain quantity of fluid in a closed circuit configuration. Said fluid will be conveyed from one cell to another by the user's weight, and the valve or valves will be closed thereafter once the desired pressure in the various zones has been reached. System 2: independent cells. Each cell will have one inflation and disinflation valve through which the pressure will be regulated, either by manual or mechanical pumping, until the desired pressure is reached.
