<p>A method of isomerizing a light hydrocarbon oil comprising: a pretreatment step in which the light hydrocarbon oil is hydrogenated to convert organic sulfur components of the light hydrocarbon oil into hydrogen sulfide so as to result in a content of organic sulfur components of 0 to 30 ppm by weight; and an isomerization step in which the hydrogenated light hydrocarbon oil containing the resultant hydrogen sulfide is isomerized in the presence of a solid ultrastrong-acid catalyst under the conditions of a temperature of 190 to 300 °C, a pressure of 1 to 50 kg/cm2g, an H¿2?/oil ratio of 180 to 1,800 l/l, and an LHSV of 2 to 10 hr?-1¿.</p> |
