Data exchange method in ATM exchange

The method involves using an ATM exchange (BSC) which contains an ATM exchange arrangement (CC) for ATM cells (al, a2) of several virtual channels (VC) and at least two exchange arrangements (LIC) for ATM mini-cells (ml, m2. mn). Data from individual connections (cl, c4) are assigned respectively to one ATM mini-cell in the ATM mini-cell exchange arrangements. The ATM mini-cells are embedded in ATM cells, so that data of the individual connections are mediated through these ATM cells by the ATM exchange arrangement in virtual channels.
