A mineral supplement for use in animal feed, with at least 95 % calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P) and sodium (Na) solubility, is obtained by reacting orthophosphoric acid with Ca hydrogen phosphate and/or Ca orthophosphate from bones and/or Ca carbonate (CaCO3) from egg shells and disodium carbonate (Na2CO3). An Independent claim is also included for the production of the supplement.
