<p>An image output device adapted to edit outputted image data, and having a simple construction. The image output device comprises a memory (20) in which image data are stored, a function generating unit (40) which generates a predetermined function H (x, y) at a desired position in an X-Y address space synchronously with the control of read of the image data and write the data onto an output X-Y plane, and an image data processing unit (30) which processes the outputted image data (g) in the corresponding address space according to the value of the function H (x, y). In accordance with the function H (x, y) which is generated at a desired position synchronously with the control of read of the image data and write the data onto the output X-Y plane, the output image data (g) are subjected to various real-time image processings.</p> |
