A cable comprising a plurality of thin-plate conductors and a plurality of flat cables respectively constituted of an insulating covering layer for covering each thin-plate conductor, wherein the flat cables are flatly arranged in close contact with each other and adjacent side edges of the cables are connected to each other continuously or intermittently over a predetermined length. A method of manufacturing cable comprising the steps of intermittently delivering a plurality of flat cables in one direction, intermittently transferring the cables while in close contact with each other, receiving adjacent side edges of the cables while continuously or intermittently welding them over a predetermined length when transferring them, and cutting the cables into each length at a predetermined timing. Thereby, it is possible to manufacture a cable having no discarded portion and being easily wired at a low cost. |
