<p>A method of manufacturing a device for counteracting imbalance caused by the uneven distribution of a load in a rotary drum comprising two members (11, 12) and a plurality of balls (15) is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of driving transfer means (200) to transfer a first member (11) from a supply of first members (11) to a ball dispensing means (300); controlling the ball dispensing means to dispense balls (15) into a first member (11); driving the transfer means (200) to transfer first and second members (11, 12) to a seam welding means (500) and controlling the seam welding means (500) to seam weld a first member (11) to a second member (12).
