<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for metal plate lamination having an excellent formability in, for example, a deep drawing process, and excellent in heat resistance, impact resistance and property of retaining taste and flavor. SOLUTION: This polyester film is a biaxially oriented film of a polyester copolymer having an ethylene terephthalate as a main repeated unit and a melting point 210-245 deg.C. The polyester film has a maximum of peak temperatures of loss modulus (Te) and a glass transition temperature (Tg) determined by DSC measurement respectively satisfy and formulas I and II, and a surface roughness (Ra) of 15 nm or less. formula I: Tg>=78 formula II: Te-Tg<=30 (Wherein Tg is a glass transition temperature( deg.C) determined by DSC measurement after heat melting at 290 deg.C - quenching, and Te is a maximum of peak temperatures of loss modulus ( deg.C).).</p> |
