PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reflect the intention of a driver for acceleration/deceleration from the change in operation of an accelerator pedal by judging the permission and prohibition of the transfer to the tight side of a lock-up clutch according to the result of comparison of the reference value to the present shift position with the change in operation of the accelerator pedal. SOLUTION: A transfer permission judging means 25 is provided on a lock-up clutch control device 20. The change in operation of an accelerator pedal is calculated from the opening of the accelerator pedal from a target drive force indexing means 21 by the transfer permission judging means 25, and when the change in operation of the accelerator pedal is smaller than the reference value to the present shift position, the accelerator pedal is judged to be returned, and the transfer to the tight side of the lock-up clutch to the tight side is prohibited. Otherwise, the transfer to the tight side of the lock-up clutch is prohibited. The intention of a driver for acceleration/deceleration can be reflected from the change in operation of the accelerator pedal. |
