PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a soil conditioner having small apparent specific gravity capable of freely controlling, which is aseptic and is excellent in growing ability, water permeability and water holding property, by baking fine powder of a byproduct of feldspars generated in a purification process of feldspar adopted as a raw material for ceramic industry. SOLUTION: This soil conditioner is obtained by baking fine powder (particle diameter of the powder is 5-500μm) of a byproduct of feldspar adopted as a raw material for ceramic industry at 600-1,150 deg.C. Preferably, the soil conditioner is produced by baking fine powder of feldspar added with clay. |
