PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce required drive power and to prevent the leak of a resin soln. into a molding passage in a molding apparatus suitable for the continuous production of a long foamed resin molded object. SOLUTION: Rectangular upper molds 7 are fitted in rectangular groove- shaped lower molds 6 formed so as to be divided into a plurality of ones and connected so as to be circulated and moved to form a molding passage 15 having a desired cross-sectional shape. A gap is provided to the fitting regions of the upper and lower molds 6, 7 and bendable seal belts 8, 9 are arranged in the molding passage 15 and the edges of them are held between the gaps of the fitting parts of the upper and lower molds 6, 7 not only to prevent the leak of a resin soln. 1 into the molding passage 5 but also to make the generation of burr impossible at the part other than the gap between the edge parts held in the gaps. The seal belts 8, 9 are pressed to the inner surfaces of the upper and lower molds 6, 7 by foaming pressure when the resin soln. is foamed in the molding passage 15 to be circulated and moved along with the upper and lower molds 6, 7 to move a material to be molded comprising a glass mat 3, to which the resin soln. 1 is bonded, through the molding passage 15. |
