PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve, in the packaging of a container filled with an offset- printing-plate erasing agent used for rending a silver image ink-receptivity preservabiltiy for the offset-printing-plate erasing agent, by packaging it with a material having specific values in oxygen permeability and water vapor permeability. SOLUTION: To package a container filled with an offset-printing-plate erasing agent used for rending a silver image ink-receptivity, in particular, an erasing agent containing organic acid ferric complex salt and further containing this thiosulfate, soluble bromide, etc., a material whose oxygen permeability is not higher than 10 ml/m<2> .day.atm and water vapor permeability is not higher than 10 g/m<2> .day is used. The quality of the material satisfying the conditions is not limited, in particular. However, the one whose thickness is not more than 50μm and salability is satisfactory is preferable, and the examples of such material are ceramic deposited film, an aluminum multilayer film, and a transparent barrier film of vinylidene chloride or the like. As the container for the erasing agent for printing, a pen-type container is used.
