PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design the structure of a main conveying portion between merged conveying portions to cope with variations in the situation of subsidiary conveying paths reasonably at small cost. SOLUTION: A thin piece conveyor 300 merges thin pieces 100 carried thereto along subsidiary conveying paths S and transfers them along its main conveying path M. One merged conveying unit 2y that has a drive motor interlocks the other merged conveying units 2x and the relay conveying units 4x with each other. Between the relay conveying unit 4x and merged conveying unit 2x, a variable interlocking-length interlocking mechanism 4w is interposed for variation of the interlocking length L12 by a change of its belt 4w3. A small increment in the lengthΔLx is effected by a shift of a gear 4w14 adapted to rotate together with a pulley 4w2 to the left or right in relation to a gear 4w16 meshing with the gear 4w14. The length L12 is varied and the incrementΔLx is adjusted to concide with the interval L11 between the subsidiary feed paths S. The variable interlocking-length interlocking mechanism 4w may be replaced by a fixed interlocking-length interlocking mechanism 4v. These workings cope reasonably with variations in the length of pachinko machines B set in a pachinko machine island device 500.
