PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al-Mg-Si-Cu alloy extruded material free from recrystallized structure in the surface layer part, excellent in intergranular corrosion resistance, and suitably used as a structural material for vehicle in particular, and its production. SOLUTION: This material is an extruded material of an aluminum alloy having a composition consisting of, by weight, 0.8-1.2% Mg, 0.4-0.8% Si, 0.15-0.4% Cu, and the balance Al with impurities and has an electric conductivity of 63.0- (Mg%+Si%)×8.2+Cu%×1.5+Mn%×18.7+Cr%×14.5+Zr%×19.1} (%IACS) Further, one or >=2 kinds among <=0.15% Mn, <=0.35% Cr, and <=0.15% Zr can be added.
