<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a sheet feeding at small intervals according to a higher speed by feeding a sheet by a feeding rotating body, and providing a separating rotating body for separately carrying the sheet in cooperation with a carrying rotating body, and idling the carrying rotating body in the state where the feeding rotating body is rested by a one-way clutch. SOLUTION: A feed roller 4 is branched on the further upstream side of a one-way clutch 17 provided on the upstream side of the drive transmitting passage of a carrying roller 5 through a pulley 20, a pulley 21 and a belt 22. When a feed clutch 15 is connected to feed a sheet by the feed roller 4 and the carrying roller 5, the feed roller 4 and the carrying roller 5 are integrally synchronously rotated. While the sheet is pulled out from the nipping part between the carrying roller 5 and a separating roller 6 by a drawing roller pair 7, the carrying roller 5 is idled by the action of the one-way clutch 17, so that the feed roller 4 is held in the rested state without rotation while the carrying roller 5 is integrally rotated with the separating roller 6.</p> |
