摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the unnecessary speed correction and speed up a printing operation by performing the control following the expansion of an out-of-step speed area in accordance with an increase in the temperature of a paper feed motor. SOLUTION: A relationship between the temperature of a motor and an out-of-step speed area is determined instrumentally and this data thus obtained is stored in a storage part 10 for an out-of-step step area by motor temperature. In addition, the temperature of a stepping motor 8 is sequentially monitored during printing by a motor temperature detection part 11, then in a part 9 for switching a motor out-of-step speed area, the out-of-step step area corresponding to the temperature of the motor is extracted from the storage part 10 for an out-of-step speed area by motor temperature and is delivered to a part 4 for correcting the calculated speed of the motor to correct the out-of-step speed area. In the part 4, all corrections here are so that deceleration corrections a deceleration correction is effected, more than necessary, when the control is uniformly performed within an out-of-step velocity control area which is widest ever at the highest temperature of the motor. Therefore, the control following the temperature of the motor is performed by this control. Thus it is possible to prevent the deceleration correction beyond the limits of necessity and suppress a reduction of the printing speed.
