PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the effect of a noise due to the AC power lines that connect the inverter and the motor of an electric vehicle where the motor is driven by converting the DC from the battery to AC by the converter. SOLUTION: An inverter 12 is integrally installed at the rear of a motor 5, and three 3-phase AC power lines a1 to a3 that connect the inverter 12 to the motor 5 are stored inside casings 37 and 38 of a decelerator 6. Integration of the motor 5 and the inverter 12 reduces the length of the three 3-phase AC power lines a1 to a3, leading to reduction in weight and heat caused by electric resistance. In addition, because the three 3-phase AC power lines a1 to a3 that are likely to generate noise are stored inside the casings 37 and 38, the noise that generates therein is blocked by the casings is blocked and its leaking out therefrom is prevented, thus the effect of noise on the audio system or the electronic control system is minimized. |
