PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveyor, a remaining sheet removing method an a conveying path inspecting method all improved for a removal of a sheet remaining in the conveying path and for detection of an abnormality in the conveying path. SOLUTION: This sheet conveyor comprises a sheet feed control part 101 for controlling a sheet feed roller 34 placed in an image forming device, an delivery sheet counter 105 for counting sheets delivered out onto a purge tray, a conveying roller control part 102 for controlling a conveying roller 25, and a main control part 100 for controlling these control parts according to a predetermined execution procedure. After the execution of an automatic purge function, the sheet feed roller 34 is driven to feed an inspection sheet into the conveying path and the conveying roller 25 is then driven to circulate it along the conveying path. |
