<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a polyester film for metal plate lamination having an excellent formability in, for example, a deep drawing process, and excellent in heat resistance, impact resistance and property of retaining taste and flavor. SOLUTION: This polyester film is a biaxially oriented film of a polyester copolymer having an ethylene terephthalate as a main repeated unit and a melting point of 210-245 deg.C. The polyester film has a maximum of peak temperatures (Te) of loss modulus and a glass transition temperature (Tg) determined by DSC measurement respectively satisfying formulas I and II, and comprises a porous particulate silica, which is an agglomerated particle of primary particles having an average particle size of 0.001-0.1μm, having a pore volume of 0.5-2.0 ml/g. formula I: Tg>=78 formula II: Te-Tg<=30 (Wherein Tg is a glass transition temperature( deg.C) determined by DSC measurement after heat melting at 290 deg.C - quenching, and Te is a maximum of peak temperatures of loss modulus ( deg.C).).</p> |
