SEMICONDUCTIVE SILICONE RUBBER COMPOSITION AND SEMICONDUCTIVE SILICONE RUBBER ROLL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a semiconductor silicone rubber composition capable of providing a silicone rubber having stable resistance within a semiconductor region by hardening the composition. SOLUTION: This semiconductor silicone rubber composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. organopolysiloxane of the formula R<2> a SiO(4-a)/2 [R<1> is a monovalent hydrocarbon; (a) is 1.98-2.02] and having at least two aliphatic unsaturated groups in one molecule, (B) 2-100 pts.wt. thermal black and/or furnace black having∞50 nm primary particle diameter and <=50 cc/100 g DBP oil absorption, (C) 0.1-10 pts.wt. antistatic agent consisting of an organopolysiloxane containing an ionic group and (D) a hardening agent. The composition wears well under a high voltage because the composition is stabilized against resistance change specific to the material of a roll material used under the high voltage. The composition can be suitably used for an electrified roll, a transcribing roll and a developing roll.
