PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of refrigerant, and to improve the efficiency of making ice. SOLUTION: An air conditioner 10 equipped with an ice storage unit, which can perform an ice making operation and an ice melting cooling operation, has a heat source side unit 11 that is provided with compressors 18A to 18C and a heat source side heat exchanger 21, an ice thermal storage unit 12, in which coils are arranged in an ice storage tank 32 in such a condition that they are sunk in water, and an utilization side heat exchanger 13 that is provided with utilization side heat exchangers 24 to 26. In the air conditioner 10 equipped with the ice thermal storage unit, said coils comprise an ice making coil 30 that is used at the time of the ice making operation, and an ice melting coil 31 that is used at the time of the ice melting cooling operation with the smaller bore than that of the ice making coil 30. The ice melting coil 31 is arranged near the ice making coil 30 in an ice block range that is formed around the outer periphery 30A by the ice making coil 30. |
