PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a stepped portion and improve appearance by providing a mold-formed portion of a glass run corresponding to a joint portion for joining a laterally extending waist line portion and a longitudinally extending sash portion and a protrusion formed inside the vehicle, and engaging the protrusion with a door trim during the assembly work. SOLUTION: A protrusion 3 is formed on the outer surface of a corner piece by additionally providing the shape of the protrusion 3 in a mold. The protrusion 3 has a longitudinally extending shape along with the waist line portion. Therefore, when moving the window of the vehicle door up and down, even if the vertical force acts on the mold-formed portion 2 of the glass run 1, the mold- formed portion 2 is reasonably kept stationary through engagement between the protrusion 3 and the door trim 4 since the longitudinal sides of the protrusion 3 are arranged to abut the waist line portion. As an angular portion 4a of the door trim 4 is engaged with the protrusion 3, the vertical movement of the glass run 1 can be arrested, thus eliminating the stepped portion. |
