<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease pattern noise from when the tire is new to when the tire is worm without losing the uneven wear characteristics in a pneumatic tire having blocks in the tread. SOLUTION: A vertical cut-out 26 is made vertically in the block wall 24A in the interim in the direction of tire rotation (the side of the direction of Arrow R) in a second block 24 that joins on the inside of the shoulder block. The compression rigidity of the treading end of the second block 24 diminishes because of the cut-out 26. This generates heal and toe wear of the shoulder block. Noise during treading even with a heavy load on the treading end of the second block is controlled and the worsening of pattern noise is prevented.</p> |
