<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly handle a virgin detonating agent in an inflator by informing the condition after the use of a detonating means by a control means when an air bag is expanded, on the basis of the condition of an occupant in a vehicle. SOLUTION: An inflator 16 for assistant's seat and an inflator 17 for a driver' s seat expand the air bags for assistant's seat or driver's seat by simultaneously detonating five detonating agents in maximum corresponding to the impact from the external. On this occasion, a mounting of seat belt detecting sensor 22 for detecting whether an occupant mounts a seat belt 27 or not, and plural pressure sensors 35 for detecting the existence of the occupant on the seat and the seating posture of the occupant are buried in a driver's seat 10, and further the output signals of these sensors 22, 35 are input to a control unit 11 to inform the condition after the use of the inflator 17 for driver's seat when the air bag is expanded.</p> |
