<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printing paper subjected to measures for preventing forgery, capable of more effectively preventing the forgery and alteration than an optical variable device foil or a foil having only a reflective thin film layer. SOLUTION: This printing paper is obtained by patterning at least one side of a printing paper substrate 3 with shredded fibers 2. The shredded fibers 2 are prepared by forming a reflective thin layer 5 on a substrate 4 for the shredded fibers and subsequently slitting the formed laminate. In the portion that the shredded fibers are patterned among the paper layers of the printing substrate 3, the reflective thin film layers 5 form patterned design-like reflective thin film layers 5'.</p> |
